The undergraduate major in environmental health science features an interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates the environmental and health sciences with management and public policy. You will be trained to address pressing environmental health problems and will be prepared for an impact career or for graduate study in public health or the traditional sciences.

At IUPUI you will study the scientific, financial, and political realities of environmental health through classes in air pollution, water supply and wastewater treatment, solid and hazardous waste management, field sampling and laboratory analysis, toxicology, industrial hygiene, and food safety sanitation.
